Thank you, I’ll take a look at her... she is sleepier than her normal self, but that could be whatever issue she has is causing interruption in sleep I suppose. It is very strange and out of the ordinary for us!

Never done anything like this, I’ve never seen any of our other chickens act like this either. She is staying near our door which she never usually does either. She’s been doing it all day today and seems to be becoming more frequent.

thank you tenchicks!!! No, they free range, and we give treats - higher protein when it's cold... but no shells or obvious calcium supplements.. is that good to do on a regular basis to prevent this? Interesting that TUMS would help expel the egg! What is the physiology behind that I wonder...
