    Just as an addendum...it's about time for somebody to write a new version of the Storey Guide.....kinda like it's time for a newer version of the APA standard of perfection...1998 is the latest current edition if I'm not mistaken....love to get both of these books in a brand new updated version!

    babies and scratch

    I give mine a VERY small amount at about 4-6 weeks also as a treat only and so they will come to me when I'm out in the coop or pasture. You don't want it to replace their feed at all because it has far fewer nutrients...it's chicken candy basically. IMHO

    Oregon

    Northeast Oregon. I've been cruising through the Oregon thread looking for eastern oregon folks...they are few and far between kinda like this part of Oregon I guess. Anyway, I'm from Union which is near LaGrande and Baker City...love to hear from others from this neck of the woods.

    New coop and run finished

    That is so cute! Very nice. Seems you thought of everything. When DH and I built ours it was with leftover everything and we kept improving on our ideas for predators proofing etc. ...the end result is a mismatched looking outfit. I'm jealous.
