    Thank you! I ordered some VetWrap - 1 day shipping. Hopefully the other chicks leave her alone. After looking again - her toes are not curled, so, I will just wrap the legs.

    One of my silkie chicks seems to have a case of spraddle leg. He can still stand, but the one leg wants to slip out to the side. It is maybe caused from curled toes?     They hatched! 6 out of 8 hatched normally, 1 I "surgically" removed just now (stuck to the membrane), and 1dud. 2 are black, 1 golden brown, 1 gray, 1 yellow with pink skin, and 1 yellow/tan with black skin, and the one I hatched appears to be gray. Was a fun day! Will try to post a pic.

    I have 8 silkie eggs in the incubator now - day 9. Candled them, and chicks are developing in every one. Got them at an auction and don't know what color they are going to be, should be a fun surprise!

    Which Incubator to buy?

    I have had great success with the Hova-Bator 1586! Temp holds steady and good viewing window. This time around I got another Hova-Bator for the last 3 days because I have a few different batches going at once.
