I have seen some awsome ideas in here. My biggest issue is space. I live in the city. I have the same problems predators, pond and runs but less space to do it in. I believe I have enough room, I must use it wisely. Again thank you all.
I'm down in Louisiana. Coon, pussom and hawks oh and rats. Coons very rare but a family of pussom nearby. Rats don't see them but I know they are there. Pets also cats mostly put dogs too.

Sorry guys been busy, but looks my design of hardware cloth lining to bottom will be the way to go. Sand was spoken of and saw dust I think, what about wood chips like in a garden?
