Thanks.
If I follow this course of treatment, I'm assuming I'd need to keep her/her food separated from the other chickens?
Treatment
Nystatin (100 ppm in feed) for 7-10 days, copper sulphate (1 kg/tonne feed) for 5 days, or copper sulphate 1gm/2 litre water for 3 days if approved locally.
I have a 3 yr old bantam hen who I think might have vent gleet. She hasn't layed for a while, but in the year I've had her she has never been a real regular layer (she'll lay one every other day for a week then nothing for a week or twoor more.) Yesterday I noticed that there was a weird wet...
I have 2 Ameraucanas and I've been axiously awaiting their eggs too. They are almost 22 weeks old but still no eggs. We also have one older bantam columbia rock who's 2yrs old and lays a few times a week.
Thanks I had not heard of the quarantine period. They seem to be doing just fine separated by chicken wire and I've give them each their own food and water.
I hope some one can help give me some direction. I'm new to chickens. I have two standard chickens who are just over ten weeks. We just introduced a third 2 yr. old hen. I was hoping we can introduce her with ease as she is a bantam so she is the same size as our chickens are right now...
