    Could this be a Roo?

You know I kept wondering that, I always noticed how dark she was. I got her from a feed store and they had piles of chicks in trays. All of these are the same chick. Do you have any idea what she might be otherwise?

    Stepping stool nesting box

decided to go with this doll cradle. Should I take a side panel off for easy entry? I'm worried that it's so deep they might crush the eggs getting in and out.

I'm not sure if you were referring to me or someone else, but I only have 3 hens. Is the playhouse big enough for 3?

post your chicken coop pictures here!

The run is made from an old 8x4 raised garden bed. I am not handy with woodwork so I just screwed 2x4s to the bed and across the top and sides of each other to make the frame. Yesterday we got the run covered and surrounded in hardware cloth. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to mount...

Looking for pictures of coops/runs with electric wires.

My coop is an old playhouse. The wood on the bottom is weak, I'm scared to dig around it to bury the hardware cloth. I have 1/2 inch hardware cloth on my run. I was able to bury some cloth around it. But the red clay was too hard for me to dig down 12 inches so I'm worried that it isn't far down...

    Mislabelled red stars?

Omg my red stars look like yours. While I'm not too concerned about the breed I am concerned about them being hens. I only bought them because the coloring supposedly indicated that they were female. Maybe it has something to do with the breeds that were crossed. The guy I bought mine from said...

    Could this be a Roo?

This is my buff orphington pullet, I got it 2 weeks ago so I'm guessing it is about 3 weeks old. I noticed it has a comb coming in already. Can that be a sign that this is a Roo? [/IMG]
