Hrmm... I purchased them at a local Tractor Supply Company. How cool, if she turns out to be one! :)
I found a pic of a blue mille fleur chick here, http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGK/Millies/BRKMilleFleur.html, and thought mine looks just alike. Scroll all the way down, the chicks are at...
Oh
I found this on the Belgian Bearded d'Uccle Wikipedia page under appearance.
"The Belgian Bearded D'Uccles comes in many color variations, including: Mille Fleur, Porcelain, Black mottled, Buff mottled, Blue mottled, Blue Mille Fleur, Buff Colombian, Brown red, Red, White, Black, Buff...
Gorgeous birds!
I just got this chick yesterday and I believe she's a d'Uccle. From what I've seen, she seems lighter than a mille fleur... do you think she's a maybe a blue mille fleur?
(I'm new to the chicken world :)
Hola!
Just purchased a coop and six bantams, call me chicken crazy! (already...) I've always loved birds.
Look out for my first in "What Breed is this?" ...I could use some help!
Glad to be here.
I'm new to the world of chickens, just picked out my first chicks today. I know the first row are Silkies, and I believe the second row are Cochins. Beyond that, I was hoping to get some opinions/facts on what Breeds and colors they all are. Thanks!http://imgur.com/iZ82NUI
