    Cover Crops???

Why do you want to use roundup? Can't you just till the "green manure" in? I thought that was the whole idea of a cover crop, to till it in Jen

    speckled sussex

Looking for SS hatching eggs or pullets. I lost mine, and I love the breed. My first one was hatchery and she had reproductive problems. Not egg bound, just problems. Would like breeder quality this time. Not looking for show quality, just healthy birds. Thanks!

    Got sand? You should!

How does pine chips cause liver damage? Mine aren't eating them, they're just under their roost where they sleep at night.

    Got sand? You should!

Well, I finally got my FineTines Jr, I removed all the sand (sorry Jeff). I really disliked it. it seemed to stay wet all the time. I switched to pine shavings. I LOVE them. It takes me approx 5-10 min a day to sift through. SO much easier. I wish I would have done this from the start, but I...

How to clean out pine pellet litter?

I just purchased this. BUT, I bought the replacement, since I work at a hardware store, I'll just get a handle there. Why should I pay to ship a handle?? www.aplusequine.com/cgi-bin/ccp51/cp-app.cgi?usr=51G8313443&rnd=5581728&rrc=N&affl=&cip=208.123.183.110&act=&aff=&pg=cat&ref=MAIN6&catstr=

    Got sand? You should!

I just found it on Amazon ALOT cheaper than Marshhavenfarms. They were the most expensive! perchie.girl : Quote: Pitch forks are generally used to muck stalls out ,so what they consider closely spaced might still be to open for small chicken poop and sand. They look pretty fine to me. I...

    Got sand? You should!

I just contacted them, and they said the spacing is 1/2 in. If that's not close enough, it could be covered with hardware cloth, or something similar.

    Got sand? You should!

I still think I'm going to get this. Here is a better description of it: The Junior Fine Tines™ Pitch Fork has an angled basket with 22 closely spaced tines to get even the small stuff, cutting your picking time. This is a durable pitch fork that resists breaking and is a great addition to your...

    I lost a great customer today :(

If I could afford to have someone clean my house, even if I have the tools and know-how, I'd let them. It'd free me up to do something else I LOVE to do, spend time with my chickens Your heart is in the right place, give her the stuff. She'll never forget you!
