    How much Feed is too much/to little?

    I have a flock of 11 layers...They are able to free range about 5-6 hours a day and are in a large run the rest of the day. Right now I feel like I am burning through feed...like a 50# bag every week and a half. They really aren't too excited about free ranging so I have been giving them less...

    How cold can chicks tolerate?

    I have 9 chicks...2-6 week old, 4-5 week old, and 3-4 week old. I have them in an outside coop and turn on their heat lamp at night (it is still getting around 30 degrees at night in Montana)...my question is how much longer should I be plugging in the lamp? I see posts all of the time to follow...

    Amber white tail feathers?

    I have 2 Amber Whites that are approximately 10 weeks old...I'm trying to figure out their sex. They both have distinctly different tailfeathers...one has two longer feathers that stick out and the other has more of a "V" shape. I will try to get pics up later today!
