    Egg turner Question

Good day all, I am building a mini fridge incubator and needed some input on egg turners. Looking online and trying to keep costs down, I found a quail egg turner for fairly cheap but instead of turning the eggs a few times a day it constantly turns them taking 2 hours to do a full rotation...

    Hey all!

I am a few days behind you with the Arduino idea! I am going to try my first Arduino project for automation in my quail setup. First will be lighting, then food, water, notifications, and then incubation. Keep us updated on your project!

Question on light hours for quail when in a room with rabbits.

Would it be detrimental to egg prodution for quail to see 16 hours of light a day? Why you may ask? I am setting up a room in the back of my garage to raise both my quail and meat rabbits. These meat rabbits need 16 hours of light to maxamize their pregnancy cycles. Regards, matt

Whats better, rolling egg turner or a rocking style? Newb here but have been doing a lot of reading. From a lot of what I have read it sounds like eggs should be placed big point down in a rocking style auto turner. But I have found a few videos showing an auto turner that rolls the eggs...

Newb with a few questions so I can setup right

I'm going to jump into Coturnix Quail, just need some advice so I can set up right the first time. I am basically new to raising birds altogether(raised day old chickens for meat with a 40% survival rate thanks to a weasel and a feed mistake) and have a couple questions I haven't seem to come...
