    Fire Ants

    Here's an article from OG about fire ants. One thing they suggest is orange oil extract. http://organicgardening.com/feature/0,7518,s1-2-9-727,00.html Let us know what works because I have them in my yard too and they're awful!

    Newbie in Georgia

    Thanks, TaLani! CHICKS4ME, we live in the "Boonies" too. It's a great mix of a neighborhood with the country feel to it. My neighbor used to have chickens which is what really sparked my interest. His coop didn't provide much protection so the raccoons got to his flock. Now they just have goats.
