No more than 2 years old. i have 5 hens and they had been averaging 4 a day and one went broody and it slowed to 2 to 3 so we moved her and still only 2 to 3. Eating great drinking lots of water don't look sick and not scratching. Today 4 for 4 so go figure. The broody hen we moved still hasn't...
I had to help my last 2 cause of the sack sticking was a good decision for me anyway they are good and health as of now. Pretty sure they would not have got out on there own the sack was really stuck to them. Hope you had good luck.
All 10 eggs hatched. My wife had to help 2 of them. Think maybe my humidity dropped and caused the egg sack to stick I let them try for about 24hrs and then just helped them. Took them a while to get moving good they looked exhausted, they are a little smaller than the rest but so far doing great.
I had 2 that I was trying to wait. After giving them 24hrs I intervened but these where my last 2 to hatch I did the same as far as getting the early ones out and maybe my humidity dropped but my wife helped them out it took them a while to come around looked like they where exhausted from the...

Incubating for the 1st time and so far 3 for 3. My kids are going crazy. Temp from 98-101, Humidity from 45-70 just couldn't keep it consistent but so far so good. When should I feed them for the 1st time and how hot should the brooder be.
Thanks for the info. There regular feed is laying mash with 16%. The scratch I just give one scoop a day. Will be watching them close to see if it happens again don't want to mess them up.
It's not organic but think it's pasteurized, it's cleared up but I did get a egg that was 1 1/2 times the size of the rest of them so not sure if thats what could have caused it.
Not sure what might cause them to have runny and looks like some spots have water spot with small crap in the middle. Started it 2 days ago but also started giving them mix scratch/grain instead of just corn scratch. Is it just a change in diet. Still putting out great egg numbers.
