    Chick's head pecked to the bone!!!

    This happened to us today. Right to the scalp. I am sure Mother has taken the flesh right next to the eyes too. The eyes were closed though not sure if they are gone or just shut. The chick is days old! I'm not sure a spray would be a good idea, it's so raw and close to the eyes!

    New to ducklings!

    So we've always had chooks and now we've got 2 ducklings. Does anyone know how old these may be? We were told around 10 days as of today (14 June) They have chick crumb, water, newspaper and wood chippings. We also have a heat lamp that we are regulating! :love
