I also use use Sevin-dust on the ground under ALL my cages. Also on chicken that have a severe mite/lice problem.
DE works in coop and covered run. but useless where it can get wet.

3ft per chicken, more if you can, so a 9ftx9ft would be the smallest I would go. and a part of it needs to be kinda high.
The high part will be the roost, needs to be at least 6-7ft IMO

Turkeys grow at a lot slower pace then chickens. So most likely would get picked on and or killed. I would personally raise the turkey on my own and leave the chickens in with the other ones
Ive used the shelf liner for 3 batches myself with no splayed legs at all. Ive also used the small wire but had problems first 4-5 days with them having whole legs fall through hole.
I have read several articles and forum posts. Some say keep to the 99.5*, some say drop 3-5 degrees for night time change. But from my experience, roughly 4 years, and 7+ incubations not counting the reptiles i used to incubate. I keep 101-102* and I have awesome %s. Only bird i found 99-100*...
Birth-Feathers = starter
Feathers until month 5 = grower
5 months + = Layer (crumbles for bantams, pellets for LF)
On the feed unless you want to go nonGMO then it doesnt matter.
Free Range being the easiest.
