What's the best ground cover for a run
Do all of you let your chickens free range? Ours are in the coop or run all day as we don't let them free range. I have been looking into redoing the run because it's just a muddy mess at this point. The ducks don't help that problem.- busymom

So just leave her with the bantam and no worries? We have raised nesting boxes :( should I move them to the small coop after hatching?- busymom

So our bantam went broody 2 weeks ago and we let her keep two eggs just to see if she was going to sit or not. Well today less than a week from hatching one of our RIR went into the nesting box and destroyed one of the eggs :(. We moved the RIR to a separate coop we happen to have (little one)...- busymom

We are hopeful that eventually one of our hens will show signs of being broody and we can have baby chicks. It's not a big deal right now as none of them seem to be broody.
