I like this feeder idea. But I am curious on how it is with rain getting into it and clogging? I Was going to put one in the coop and one out in the run but wasn't sure how well it would do in the run during thunderstorms and rain here in ohio?
I have 3 free hens that I would like to see go to a retirment good home. Friendly and Healthy birds they just have quit laying and my daughter is now getting ready for a new batch of chicks. I think there golden buffs. I'm in Massillon Ohio and travel to southern Ohio (Cambridge / Cumberland)...
So I was given 3 chickens and a coop from my uncle. I moved them from his house to mine. The question I have is should I keep them in locked up in the coop and run for a week or would it be okay to let them free range in my back yard?
