    OK, thanks, seeing as i will add my new birds 3 months after the old died i think it will be alright! the only thing i am concerned about is due to my coop design, it is hard to thoroughly clean it.

    OK, Thank you, I will add them to my list of potentials! Thanks Chicken Chaser, haven't really researched Jersey giants before but my concern is that the only real predator we have here are foxes, I don't think they are too put off my size.
