    First egg then nothing for days!

    One of my girls started laying Thursday. I was so excited! Had an egg a day, so far. I let them out for some free ranging yesterday and didn't realize she laid in the azalea bush, till this AM. (She went directly back there to lay today.)

    I have a meat bird as well and wow @ how often this bird sits to eat and drink. I kept moving everything, to give it some sort of exercise. I originally thought something was wrong with her.

    We got these from someone who purchased chickens for their kids @ Easter. They don't know what kind or how old they are. I'm very new to having chickens. Any help is greatly appreciated.
