    Thanks for that info but I Locked them up and made sure the area was good and dry before I let them out again!! I also vacuumed the areas and mopped before letting my cats out!

    Yes I have had some hatch as early as day18 or 19.... as soon as I stop turning the eggs...laid them on their side and the next day they were here... I've also had some late ones 23 days ??? So there's no way to pin point the hatching out day....

    Silkies are hard to hatch for some reason. I put in 15 eggs and only 7 hatched out the rest either died while zipping or right after they pipped. I don't know the reason for it... But I've had a pretty good hatch rate (I guess) so far. I have two incubators one with forced air and the other...

    Happy Easter From the lil coop on Da Bayou... 7 made it out... One died... 4 died during zipping and two are not doing anything... Two didn't develop... 6 out of 15... Always have trouble with my black silkies hatching out.. I don't know why?? But I'm still glad I have 6 fluffy butts....

    I have seven of my silkies hatch out today...one I had to assist it was stuck and started to dry out (get shrink wrapped) I don't know if it will make it but Imma keep my fingers crossed...found 4 dead they didn't make it out ;( I still have 2 more eggs to go keeping a close eye on them [/IMG]

    I have seven eggs out of 13 that hatched... They decided to come early as easter morning would be 21 days One is still in the bator I had to help it out a lil as it was stuck in the egg.. 4 did not hatch out ;( they died before the could make it all the way out. Two that haven't piped yet...

    Cool!! I know it's hard to resist but don't open it until they are all out! And don't worry they can survive up to 2 days on the stuff they absorbed in the egg.

    Mine usually come out within 24 hrs!! Just don't open the incubator!!! You can dry them out and they won't be able to hatch :D
