    Oh one more thing. The chicks with the dark "V" on their heads are female and the smudgy "V"'s are male. There is a Welsummer group on Yahoo and a Dark egg layer group if you want more info. [email protected] [email protected]

    They are Welsummers. Dark egg layers, Nice breed to have. My friend in Ill sent me some of her eggs I hatched. She Loves them. Mine are about 15 weeks old now. Congrats! They are rare and nice birds.
