We just had our first hatchlings today, Momma seems to be doing a fantastic job showing them off while protecting them from her other flock mates. This makes 5 adult hens, 6 juvenals hens and 6 day old chicks for us!
Thank you, I think she was sick when we adopted her. Her sister had died before she was given to us. We did a huge vet bill since she was our first but still lost her. Now I'm just hoping she was an isolated case.
