I recently purchased some duckwing sulmtalers and ended up getting two white sulmtalers in the mix. I really like them and would love to learn more about them, but haven't had much luck.
Would love some information on them, breeding them, etc.
Thanks.
We are looking to add Jersey Giants to our flock and are hoping to find a list of breeders that we could check with. Would prefer to work with a breeder over a hatchery. Thanks.

I live in VA and am looking to add BBS Jersey Giants to my flock. I am not opposed to hatching eggs, but haven't had the best hatch rate with shipped eggs the last few times. Would really love to find some chicks, if not locally than some that could be shipped. :)
I figured that keeping them from freezing was probably a losing battle. I switch form 5 gallon buckets to 2 1/2 gallon buckets in the winter (easier for me to carry full). I put out one in the morning and if needed I switch it out for another later that afternoon, bringing the first one into...
I've found that the math isn't just for chickens. I was supposed to get 3 ducks and ended up with 11. Was only supposed to have 2 breeds of chickens and am building the pen for a third. Oh well :)
We are trying our hand at hatching Muscovy for the first time. We go into lockdown on the 7th. Very excited and nervous. We have done well hatching chicken eggs, hoping we have the same luck with our ducks.
Quite a few of the people in our area have chickens. So far the only problem we have had is the crow offs. Our roos and their can all hear each other so when once starts crowing it has a domino effect. Despite the closeness, they all pretty much stay in their own areas.
We usually don't make it to the movies that often as my son is Autistic and doesn't enjoy the crowds. He does make an exception though anytime an Avenger movie (or one of the Avenger character's movies) comes out. Loving this thread as it gives me a great idea of what to keep an eye out for...
Love all the pictures. We are in the process of trying to find our first Jersey Giants. I currently raise BBS Orpingtons and really want to work with BBS in the Jerseys too. Such lovely birds!
Glad the chicks are in and hope the little one pulls through. Chicken enabling friends are always fun. I tell my sister that she is a poultry pusher as she is always helping me to find room for a few more :)
We have four.
Lucy - a 5 year old Doberman/Australian Shepherd mix female we adopted
Marlow - a 4 year old English setter mix male we adopted
Gabby - a 2 year old Chocolate Beagle female
Lilly - a 7 month old chocolate Beagle female (Gabby's Daughter)
I have really been thinking about adding sand to the runs if not the coops themselves. We try tilling it up to keep the ground cleaned up and have areas where we plant grass for them, but every time it rains it becomes such a mess! Especially near the duck pond..
Hope you are able to find the roo a good home. We live in Gloucester but my husband works in Williamsburg. I know there is a rooster that roams near where he works and everyone has just kind of adopted him. It is nice when it works out like that.
