Thank you Beekissed and Chocolate Moose. The only thing I did different when processing the birds was let them sit over night on the table to dry before shrink wrapping them. I was told that the taste would be amasing if I let them age. So, I suppose they were sitting out from their last rinse...
I have a huge problem. I raised about 40 cornish cross meat birds. Instead of using meat birds feed that was Fermented, I used pig feed. At 12 weeks they were not bighorn enough. I then switches over to the meat birds feed for 2 weeks. At the end of that time we were satisfied with their...
NEED HELP! I was just outside trying to sight sex my khaki ducks. If I go by the spot on the bill I have 4 MALES! I am refusing to believe this right now. I only purchased 4.....and 4 males? Here are pics.
Well, my dunce moment was 100%. On the night of the 4th I rushed to get my incubator out and threw in 12 eggs so that I could actively tag along in this hatch-along. After sitting down and slowly taking in what I just did I realized I was a week early. Well, they all hatched out yesterday...all...

Does anyone here know where I can get guinea eggs? I know it will be too late for this hatch along but I would still like to try to hatch out some. Thank you! :D
Ok, I am in! I will be setting 12 chicken eggs. I am so excited! I was a new hatcher last year. I had an LG incubator, then got the Hova Bator. We bit the bullet and decided to get an amazing, 20 count, non rotating, Brinsea incubator used on Amazon for $60. When we got the package in the mail...
