No im in the UK. I keep reading that the UK Araucanas have different tail feathers, would this make a difference to you thinking this is a roo?

I am very new to keeping chicken and don't have a clue what to look for when sexing chicken. ive got one Araucana which I hatched from an eggs, and pretty sure its a roo, due to the tail feathers by looking at other photos on the net. Can someone please confirm this before I give him to a friend...
