Thanks, I got 8 new hens this week. 4 speckled Wyandottes 3 blue andalusins, and a amber white. My 3 rhode islands are really picking on the new chicks. How long will it take for them to get used to one another?

I haveca small hen house right now. So I dont know about getting alot more hens just yet. My rooster was found as a chick onnthe side of the road, and was loved and well taken care of by tha gal that gave him to me. His is very friendly. Is his being rough with the hens now at 5 months...

I am going to get 4 more hens this weekend. I know for sure that 2 of the hens are speckled Wyandotte and Blue Andalusian. They are about the same age as my Rhodies. This is what happens when I tell ppl I want more hens....this are being given to me also.
