Hi we had 6 chickens until one stopped eating, became lethargic, stopped laying eggs, and laid down a lot. This went on for weeks until she died. The second one was sick for 3 days and experienced the same symptoms except the laying down part before she died. Will it spread to the healthy...

This has been going on WEEKS! help! Is it possible for a hen to not be able to eat because her beak is going too far side to side, making clicking sounds, and the food just slips out? Or is this just fake eating and she has ovarian cancer or something. she is so light and is losing her strength...

Hi... We have a 3 yr old Welsummer hen and she has been laying down, lethargic, walking like a penguin, panting, and i haven't seen her eat or drink... BUT... it has been at least 4 days as her acting like this, and i read they can die within 24-48 hrs. Could it be anything other than egg binding?

Keep trying! we have successfully doubled our 3 hen flock, although we had blood drawn frequently on one of them, :hit they are even past that.
