I got 6 silkies. One of the hen start laying this morning when the weather is really cold. It was a nice surprised,when I opened their box to clean and I Saw an egg right beside their nesting box ..,I said Amen to that.,,,anyway they're abouth 5 1/2 months old. We got them since they're a week...

thankyou....!!! our silkies chicken is about 3 mo old thats why we didn't put divider on nesting box as yet. they still curl up on top of each other every night :) but my husband will put section on nesting box before winter come.

it took us at least a month to build the coop for our silkies because of the heat/humidity, raining and working. but finally we made it, its not 100% complete yet, we need to insulation for the winter but we're happy with the silkie hut we build and so is our silkies.
