    thanks for asking. i had Daisy helped out of the world. the vet said she had neuro symptoms and there was nothing to give her that would medically change her situation. so sad but I had to help her go and hope that the others had not gotten infected. 4 left.

    this guy was super nice and has good intentions, but as you said you need to know things when doing such work. I had a scare w/ a family of raccoons come up to the house tonight...our first sighting. Had to move the tractor in our garage for the night...major work being done on it tomorrow. eek.

    it was custom built by a guy in Oregon. it is very nice and so easy to move around and made of mostly recycled materials. yes, i must get it up to predator proofing before too long. thanks

    my coop....i realize now that I will have to add features to the bottom and replace chicken wire w/ hard cloth to make the mobile coop safe from predators.

    thanks folks. I made a video of Daisy and sent the new one to a vet and she said there is another virus that is contagious besides Marek's disease to be aware of. since Daisy exhibits neuro symptoms...they were bad last night.....dropping/extending her one wing downward and being knocked over...

    Hi all....glad to know about this website. I am a new chicken mom and will hopefully have some eggs in a few months and keep enjoying having these fun and adorable birds for a long time. I'm a little concerned about one of my chicks. Daisy is 10 weeks old and has been doing a lot of sitting...
