There's a good example here somewhere, but I'll have to see if I can track it down for you. It caught my attention because I liked the design & the reinforced frame the cattle panels give the coop. It's also looks easy to expand with the addition of more panels as chicken math overtakes my...
Had you a welcome all written but my computer hiccuped & lost it. Anyway, welcome.
I was a lurker for months before officially joining. Love this site & all the helpful people who answer questions.
Have you decided what breed(s) you want? I keep finding more that I "need", & have even fallen...
@Aliciahess I'm surprised your price is still above $3. Costco, in Covington, WA had $2.60 Monday of last week so I filled up. Saw it was $2.45 on Friday. Don't know what it is now, but it's probably lower still.

I wouldn't be surprised if the driver of the white truck doesn't have some connection to your batty neighbor. It may be a relative, or someone else as...

I'll be watching for your updates.
I've never been interested in ducks before I found these in someone's post. Their beautiful color was the first thing I liked, but the more I read about them the more I think I'll be saying the same about them being a "... good choice in picks for my first duck...

I'm no help either... I read a lot, but no RL experience to give you...
Perfect. Didn't even think to suggest an open sallet helm! She can go medieval on any of them with that spike.
Joking aside, I do hope she recovers & doesn't have any more injuries from whatever source.
Great pic!
Didn't check sizes, but it's always possible they're out there. Or, you could buy some of the spikes & add'em to your turtleneck idea. She'd look like the baddest chick in the yard.
