    Ad lib or Restricted feeding???

    I am in the process of finishing my coop and am wondering if giving full time access (ad lib) to layer pellets is a good thing or should I restrict the feed to early evening in the coop. If restricted how much per bird. Thanks Richard.

    I am a dairy farmer, 1400 in milk cows, 350 replacement hefiers, 375 weaned hefier calves and 30 Bulls. So I think this qualifys me.

    Rakaia, New Zealand Newbie.

    Hi all. I am just starting my life with chickens. Coop build will be on Sat 23/01/10. I plan to have 6 chickens, not to sure on breed yet, prob BR's to add to my DW, 5mo Son, 2 cats and 1400 dairy cows.
