I got my first Isbar egg and first legbar egg on the same day. They are small...but more colorful than I expected. Is the Isbar egg the right color or do I possibly have an olive egger? The pullet looks to be full Isbar.
I got her from a reputable individual. I have honk it's just a weird angle making the comb look more pealike than it really is. Her body size is definitely not dual purpose. She's pretty light. In fact I've caught her twice roosting on the top of our 8 foot fence.
I bought her today. Six months old. I think she is beautiful. She's a blue color with several darker blue splashes throughout. Very dark eyes. I'm smitten!

Everyone seems to be fine this morning. I hope it was just a single isolated tragic event. Thank you for your kind words. It seems silly to get emotional over a bird. The Isbar were kind of my holy grail bird. They are so great. I am on the look out for another privilege to own one.
