Went home today and checked 2 eggs from 2 different ducKS and both were fertilized! Time to get and incubator!

Also does it make a difference if it's a duck or chicken or do they both have bulleyes?

Ok so now I have just been taking them everyday and putting them in the fridge to eat later. If I Crack one to eat and it has the bulleye then the others should be good?

How do u know if my male has fertilized any of the eggs? Do I have to set up a game camera to spy on them or is it just guessing which eggs to put in the incubator?

My rouen has laid an egg a day for 2 weeks and a mix duck I have has laid everyday for about 10 days. is it normal for them to lay everyday? will it slow down as the eventually?

I am new to having ducks. I am still waiting for my 1st egg. I have only had the ducks for 4 months and I have read that when it gets cold and less sunlight then they will not lay. is that totally true? i live in northern ohio. I do not want to give them light to force laying just wondering...
