    Our first egg today! A medium sized light sky blue colored egg... The suspected layer is Sleepie, our Easter egger in the picture... I was a little worried about her the last couple of days because she was a little slow at running away from me and i actually got to pet her...but now she is back...

    Can never have enough chickens! If grocery bill is the limit then make sure you keep feeding more scraps and that way your grocery bill will always be higher and you can always get more chickens! I should stop being such a bad instigator of chicken math...

    Lol, the notorious chicken math is quite stealthy! I would add at least another 10 if my husband didn't already give me the stink eye for "mistakingly" getting 15 instead of staying within 8-12 lol
