My goose egg is due to hatch next thursday. Do you think I should make a small breathing hole when I see the internal pipping. This is my only chance to hatch one and it's the only egg I have. I just want everything to be okay with it.
Hi I just found this post. Is anyone aware of when to stop turning goose eggs. I only have one and it is on day 12 and developing nicely. I know you are suppose to stop turning chicken eggs on day 18 but what about geese???
The one I have now though. I integrated him into the rest and he's doing great. I'm not sure how it will affect him in the future though. Only time will tell
The tendon that should be behind the leg with be moved to the side usually around the knee joint. That is how mine is. Idk what to do. It won't pop back in place
My 2 day old chick has a slipped tenfon. I tried to place it back but I seem to be doing more harm than good. It Will not go back into place. Can he survive forever like this. What should I do?
I wish I could help. I am actually having the exact same problem right now and I have no idea what to do. The poor little guy uses his one good leg to spon in circles. Poor chick
Well i checked on the chick today and he or she was fine other than the fact that the leg is not fixed. His one, properly placed leg, works and he uses it to quickly spin in circles. If anyone could please provide some advice that would be be really helpful. Thank you
Well with no help and sleep quickly approaching I quickly came up with a possible solution. I tied his legs loosely together with a bread tie. Loose enough to allow movement but strong enough to keep them in place. I do not know if this will help. I was afraid to have him moving all night with...
