I have whites and we got our first egg today! So I know we have females..just not sure which ones are males if we have some...which led me to this link -

I just did more investigating and found the exit, it listened up my wiring it looks like and crawled under, but no tracks.. I've yet to see a fox here. We have coins and possums but mid morning attacks? Also I have a baby goat in there with the chickens, she came out completely unscathed. Game...- strue08

Also-does anyone know how to sex week old mallard without vent sexing them? I'm picking some up tomorrow and need to be positive about the gender -

I mean you could try to do it, but I'd put a heat lamp out there for them to huddle under at night and make sure to show them where it is-possibly even put a barricade up so they'll stay near it. But I wouldn't unless it's absolutely the last option -

I'd say no, not if it gets down to 30, they'll freeze to death if they were a lot older is say sure but since you're just introducing them and they're so young yet, no, mine were I think 2 months when I put them out -

Mine had one of mine had that! We did Epsom salt bathes daily and wrapped it, but we also made the mistake of trying to cut it open and the webbing of her foot fell off (she now swims in circles) but change the bedding-it's too harsh on its feet and salt bathes are going to be your friend
