Thanks. My roo is experienced. I have a young (his daughter that was hatched last September) Fawn Duckwing Bantam and was wondering. I also have her mother and saw my roo breed her this morning. I'm wondering if she is ready to lay again?

If the bees are out and about and the guinea's are around, they can snack on the bees. The only way an enclosure helps the bees is to keep the guinea's away from the hive body.
I got mine yesterday and they are truly well done! Thanks so much for the hard work, and Ozzie and Harriet said to say 'thank you' for letting them in for the fun!
Mine go in way before dark. Probably about an hour before. They put themselves to bed and that is that. I just go and close the coop door. Easy peasy...
That is just the sweetest picture of the roo and baby I have ever seen. I have a Bantam roo that has had a chick hatch and he seems to know that it is his. He is very sweet and caring for it like he does his hens.
Good for you! You did the right thing and I'm glad you left the dog with the bird in it's mouth. The owners saw what it did and in the act. Maybe next time they will try to keep their next dog contained better. The picture of your daughter and Friendly is certainly beautiful! Hugs to all.
Yesterday I got a neat picture of one of my guineas. This is One Toe and he was busy taking a dirt bath with I caught this head shot. I just wish I had his eye color...LOL! He is 3 1/2 months old now.
