    I went with the bigger Roo. Time to put the ladies in their place. He is quite handsome. In the sunlight you can see blue, green, red, brown, black, purple. All the hens answer to dumb dumbs. Waiting for my wife and kid to figure out Roo's name.

    Got a question. A little background. I have a coop that I built and put inside a metal shed that is on a concrete slab. I built a nice run with a door that I can drop like a guillotine.     Charming Chicken House

    Cedar is not very good for birds. I use all pine for construction and bedding supplies. Especially in a confined area. I have a heat lamp in mine. If the area is enclosed and you have cedar adding heat can make it worse. The birds have trouble breathing from cedar products.

    Thanks! Yeah it is a lot different. I worked 10 hog barns with a 1000 hogs per barn and 6 chicken barns with 30000 per barn.
