One of my older roos has been limping. I did pull a splinter, but he has other issues. What would cause this?

I went with the bigger Roo. Time to put the ladies in their place. He is quite handsome. In the sunlight you can see blue, green, red, brown, black, purple. All the hens answer to dumb dumbs. Waiting for my wife and kid to figure out Roo's name.

I have my Roo in protective custody.......

I let him out memorial day and he did well. Had him out all day. No problems. I went to a memorial service and when I pulled in the drive on my bike I could hear the lynch mob in action. Charming Chicken House

Cedar is not very good for birds. I use all pine for construction and bedding supplies. Especially in a confined area. I have a heat lamp in mine. If the area is enclosed and you have cedar adding heat can make it worse. The birds have trouble breathing from cedar products.

    Intro...Hello

Thanks! Yeah it is a lot different. I worked 10 hog barns with a 1000 hogs per barn and 6 chicken barns with 30000 per barn. With the 6 I got there is a lot more personal time spent with the chicks. So far it has went well except for the bout of pasty butt I dealt with after the second day. I...
