Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not complaining about a free chick. I would take in a chick any day. Haha! I definitely wouldn't want the little guy to be destroyed!
Thanks fiveidahoboys, I will keep that in mind. :)
Haha! I thought the same thing! They're considered exotic, but I was a little disappointed that my "rare" turned out to be an Easter Egger. I was looking forward to adding a new breed to my flock.
I wondered that myself because I received 2 americauna/araucana chicks as well & he does look very similar. His markings seem different though, especially on his head. His coloring & his feet are darker than the other 2 as well. Just thought I would get a few more opinions. Thank you!
I've posted multiple threads this week concerning breeds & you've all been very helpful! I think this is my last question... This is a pic of 1 of my 6 pullets. I believe they're about 6 weeks old. They all look identical to this & I'm wondering if they're white leghorns. The reason I ask is...
Ok that's what I've been thinking as well. I guess I just needed a second opinion to convince myself. Haha! Thank you! I'm also worried that it's a roo. It's feathering much slower than my others & it has the "L" shaped wing. Guess I'll cross my fingers and wait it out....
Hello! I'm new to raising chickens and I got this little one out of an assortment of bantams. It is feather footed. I'm wondering if it is a cochin or a d'uccle. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
Thanks so much! I'm excited to be a part of BYC!
I was thinking Old English as well, but I'm new to raising chickens and wasn't for sure. I appreciate your responses.
