    This is my first time raising chickens. I have four, Black australorp Speckled sussex Cream legbar Jersey gold I absolutely love my black australorp she is just so sweet and will sit on your lap for an hour just loves to be pet. Very calm relaxed also my speckled sussex.

    I have two 8 week old chickens started with three but one was a rooster so had to give him up. So I got two more they are only 3 weeks old, they are kept seperate but they can see each other. When the time comes to add the younger ones to the older ones how should I go about it?

    Ants!!

    Thanks, will try the cinnamon. The ants are coming because of the chicks food, so don't really want to use the 409. I have also been using peppermint oil in water and spraying around the perimeter of the chicks temp home. It doesn't seem to bother them.

    I have my 2 week old chicks inside, and I am starting to see ants. starting to freak out. I clean the area every day change the shaving and food. What can I use to stop the invasion?
