If he is a white broiler, can he live as a yard chicken? I read they're supposed to be butchered at 6-7 weeks and I've grown so attached to him I don't want to see him go. He's 4 weeks now :(
Thanks! I'm hoping at least one of the little ones is an Easter egger! They're so cute! I'm new to chickens and pretty excited about the variety i got!I'll try to get some better pictures later on!
They eat June bugs in the evenings when they fly thro the kennel they're in right now. Should I worry with it yet or wait till they're out on the ground when they're bigger?
What age do they need to be before giving them chick grit and how do I go about giving it? Mix in their food? I'm new to this and haven't found much on the grit guidelines! Thanks in advance!
can anyone help me? The bigger ones I've had almost 3 weeks and the little about a week! I don't know what they are and it's driving me crazy! I got them at Atwood's in Waco Tx assorted!
Hey, I'm near Waco. I have 13 chickens. I think 3 are roosters the rest pullets and 3 guineas and no idea on the sex of those little birds! I'm new to this all together and that's what my son wanted so my husband got them!! :D:D:D
