My ducklings hatched over the past couple of days and two out of the three of them are now happily running around, however the youngest one (approximately 24 hours old at the time of this post) hasn't started to walk yet. I was out when it hatched and my sister helped it out once it had unzipped...
A customer at my workplace gave me some turkey eggs to incubate, they've been incubating for 22 days (6 days left) and one of them has its air sack against the middle of the egg. It appears to be developing fine but is there something I can/should do to help it hatch?
Is it completely necessary to stop turning the eggs just prior to hatching? I have one incubator with several different aged eggs and it would be difficult to stop only some from turning (as it is automatic).
