Back with more chicks, hoping for ID!

Ya know I'm not sure. I asked him the name and he said it so fast I couldn't hear. Then my baby started crying etc etc and i just forgot to ask again lol. Does that affect the guess regarding gender? But I'm going back next week to get some supplies so I'll ask him again.

Back with more chicks, hoping for ID!

We have five new chicks, they are around 6 weeks old I think. Hoping you can tell if they look like pullets. I was definitely able to see more definitive roo features on others. And in great news...our broody hen is still sitting! We're about six days away from hatchlings!

Getting Sunny and Chirpy to eat more than seeds

Hi! We're on out first experience with cockatiels. We love our two new additions. Tried to buy from a local breeder but all sold out. We got them from a recommended pet shop (clean and well taken care of). They are unidentified age but young 5-7 months? They reject all food except seed feed...

Do we even have a breed identifiable?

Anyone? Got told one is a white Leghorn. Curious if my other girls have a breed or look mixed.

Six chickens, two goats, and two cockatiels!

Thanks! Posted my pics in the what breed link. Going to read up on babies now! My kids took the pis while they were working in the coop so not sure if I need better ones. I'd be super surprised if we had a specific breed versus a mix. Either way they are sweet chickens. :)

Do we even have a breed identifiable?

Hi! We have six delightful chickens. One a gift from our landlady, and the other five purchased from a neighbor. As I posted in the intro yesterday... one of our girls is brooding so we bought fertilized eggs from a neighby in the hopes of hatching some chicks! My kids took the photos while...

Six chickens, two goats, and two cockatiels!

Thanks y'all. I don't know what breed I own. We moved to Israel from the US almost two years ago. I'd love to find out the breed. Should Google, eh? :) Our goats are so sweet. Nubian mom and her buckling.

Looking for Chicken Breeders in Israel

I'm in Israel if anyone needs to find fertilized eggs. I don't own a roo but I know people who do. I know this is an old thread but I see Jerry posted not too long ago.

Six chickens, two goats, and two cockatiels!

And a wonderful homeschooling family adventure! Hi everyone. Happy to be here. We have six chickens and today are taking 12 fertilized eggs from a neighbor. One of our girls is broody, possibly a second. Our kids are very excited to see if we can add to our flock.
