    Added 2 New hens to flock of 4 4 weeks still lots of aggression. HELP!!

    I did quarantine the girls for 2 weeks in addition the meeting the old flock after the all clear they had free range with the old girls but roosted in different coops. A further week they stayed in the main coop. Betty don't think Betty is in pain and definitely no blood. Should I seperate...

    Hi I added 2 younger hens (14-18 weeks) to the happy family of 4 older hens (9 months old) and i understand they will sort out their pecking order but its been 4 weeks and they still bully manly Betty but both of them... poor betty look shocking no bald spots but no show bird either. just little...

    B I don't think they like the taste, I have 6 chickens and they drank about 200mls. As soon as I changed their water whilst they were roosting at night my two queen chooks came down and drank about 200mls each. I taking their water about 3 hrs before bed when I reworm in 2 weeks.

    Vaccinated? I bought my chickens from a poultry dealer that were vaccinated and wormed. What are they vaccinated against? One has got a cough or a sneeze. Is it something to worry about? She doesn't seam to be worried still happy and eating. One of my girls has yucky slimy greenly brown runny...

    I spoke to Steve from HenSafe, sounds like a great product, its been ordered i will let you know how it goes. i will have to modify my little eBay coop because i dont have the height required but nothing a bit of ply and silicon won't fix thats the Aussie way :)

    Thanks for the info, I'd really like some more info about the auto door, I'm considering it myself winter just started in Australian and this morning 630am it was 6'c I'd pay anything not to have to out in the morning. Are they a one size fits all? What brand did you use? Why?
