I know technically you cant sex accurately until it lays an egg or crows. Im just interested in trying to make an educated guess if this cutie is a girl or boy just for fun. Almost 5 weeks old.
I would guess its more of a comfort thing than warmth. Mine are 19wks and they have a 5ft long roost and all sleep on the first 18" of the roost. They like the feel safe factor of being close.
We recently got a mille fleur and she is little and sweet. It seems the other 6 girls are not as found of her as i am. I have 3 that always peck at her or pick her up by her feathers. Is there anything i can do to get this to stop. Ive tired to tell them no or make a loud " uhunt uh" but now...
