Hello, I reciently purchased a 1 month old Pekin duck and she is very scared and runs away from me. She will sit in my lap but she gapes her mouth and whenever she is put down she runs away when I approuch her. Can anyone tell me how to gain my pets trust????

okay so my new duckling is about 16 hours old and I'm wondering (for future refrence) how do I teach the duckling to eat and drink. He seems to peck at the food and water, but he never swallows it? Any advice?

I candled my duck egg today and it has finally broken into the air cell, and every website i visit says it should start to hatch but I haven't even heard it peeping through the egg and I'm just wondering, now that it's made its way into the air cell. How much longer till it hatches???

Hello I was wondering when to first feed new born ducklings, because i heard that since they have the egg nutrition inside them you don't feed them till the next day. Is that right?

I'm wondering if my duck eggs are quitters because although they are moving inside and there are blood vessels, i can't really tell if they are growing or not. They are on day 9 or 10 and all i can see is two small darker spots in the middle that move back and forth.
