    Dip the beak every 4 hours. Dip twice lightly each time. It is not so critical after it becomes active. What you are doing is better for it than you realize. When it gets active, it will find the water on its own. Right now you are showing it you care. That is what a Hen's clucking does.;)

    Splint the leg. We do all the time. Use popsicle stick, pencil, tree twig or anything you can modify. Tape the leg then change every three days for the next 10 days. Watch for swelling.     They are tough! Their navels are fine. I am concerned about their internal organs during dehydration. They can pull through. Some chicks hatch early because the incubator was slightly too hot. Did you have a mixed selection of chicks in the inubator?
