    Hello from Georgia!

Glad to have a fellow Georgian here!!! I am on my second year with my 13 Red Stars. I wanted to build a little attached brooder on the side of our Taj-Ma-Cluk, just big enough for 5, to see how it would work. The next thing I know, my husband and his friend bring home 10 baby chicks. After...

What a great palace for your girls. There are things you have done that I am planning to add, so your post with all the pictures is going to be a great help. It is always easier to see it done rather than just visualizing in your head. I might ask you a few questions if I get stuck. Would that...

Has anyone ever fed the Alfalfa Cubes designed for horses??? I thought that would give them some "green" also. What is living here?

Best thing to do is put out trail cam so you know what kind of visitors you have. Our neighbors brought their trail cam over and surprise, we have foxes scouting out our Taj-Ma-Cluck. Immediately a piece of spare lattice was put on the window so nothing could go thru the screen!

Coop finally done, took longer than I expected. :-)

We have been working on our coop for over a month. My husband attends college classes during the day, so he can only work a few hours at night and on Sunday. We bought the book Building Chicken Coops for Dummies. And going by the book really slows you down. My husband wanted to go by the...
