    Uk breed, naragsetts have much more white, well they do here Your profile pic looks almost like a bronze to me but I see your point...although now looking at a load of pictures... the breeder I bought them from had bronze black and narangsetts all ranging together.

    Here's photo of the foot I made, her thigh is turned out so I tried a wide splint between the legs, that didn't work so I tried a narrower one, but she couldn't t stand up so I am hoping she will correct her stance naturally.

    I posted earlier about my turkey poult with string wrapped around its leg, but I was unsuccessful in getting it all out, he was ok for a couple of weeks then yesterday I noticed his foot hanging off, so I performed an amputation and fitted a bamboo leg, I need a rubber plastic...

    Hi thanks for that, I managed to get some out, but its really hard because of the swelling, I have put him back in with the others now and will have another go tomorrow hoping that the swelling has gone down a bit.

    Hi ...I am in West Wales UK...good news , when I put the Tom back in, I put the nest back where she brooded last time, and I have 4 eggs...last time she was laying everywhere, and sat on 21 eggs in the end...only 7 hatched , more hopeful this time

    Thanks for that I will give it a try, he's always been pretty docile, but the hen who used to be terribly bullied by our guinea fowl is now very protective, and has attacked me a few times lately. Will give it a try tomorrow

    Hi until last week I had 2 stags (1 dominant) and 1 bronze hen) A fox got the largest stag, and the remaining male is terrified, staying on the roost almost every day. Can I put him with the hen who is in a separate pen with her 4 week old poults? or will he hurt them. There is plenty of space...
