    BEST chicken feed recipe, ever.

    I bought all of this great stuff yesterday and mixed it up. Soaking and sprouting the grains overnight is a great idea. How much do you feed per chicken? I read somewhere something about 4 oz. but I wasn't sure if that was per day. I have two light lovely light brahma hens. thanks so much!

    She just got going about six weeks ago. But, I've been added a couple of tablespoons of oyster shell to their breakfast and dinner. Sounds like I should just put a bunch of it out, free choice, to make sure they are getting what they need. Thanks so much for your answer.

    Kind of an icky topic, but I've been supplementing my 2, new Light Brahma hens' crumbles with a scattering of quinoa and amaranth, oat groats, etc., from somebody's great list on this site. But I noticed the undigested?? tiny seeds in their poop. Does that mean they're not benefiting from it...
