no do not think eye is damaged
when i first saw it the eye was almost shut the lesion w(what ever you call it) was on the bottom eye lid
i saw him scratching at it when i got the camera he must of busted the (pox ) and the eye was open
in the close up picture i have i can zoom in on it it is ok...
listerine for mouth area i will look inside tomorrow
rense out eye got it will try to find thos eye meds tomorrow
will see if i can obtain penicilin not sure about that
i would need dosage how much to give maybe tractor supply will have it
vitamin e i will see if i can get it down him sounds...

the blue is the color of the head
most of the brown is the reminat of the fuzz that the turkey had from a chick especially on the neck
the top of the head is small...

i didnt notice them on the head until the yesterday eve
he looks pretty bad but eats drinks and dust normal
i guess he was eating the lesions off his legs at first? i never saw any just him pecking

i believe this is nornal i have 2 hens there head looks like that but do not have lesions or odd pecking or scratching...

the bird is a young turkey the beak is normal
they have just really started to loose all the fuzz on there head
he is in a pen with two hens that appear normal the fuzz on there head is also splotchy but if they have the same condition it is not near as bad
i dont realy want to cull him for if...
the only thing that kept him from pecking his own legs was bandages
today i see scabs and warts on his head

it seems that i read some were that silkies have holes in there skull that is what makes the top not stick up and that if you could see through the skin the brain would be visable not protected by the skull in this area. a peck in the right spot could cause brain damage or death
